Growing up in a certain culture around familiar faces can make one feel like they are safe and secure in a world just for them. What happens when suddenly you are thrown out of your safe zone and into a different world of uncertainty? That was the case of 21-year-old, Nigerian citizen Isaac David who came to America in Dec. 2015. While dealing with a large culture shock, Isaac struggled to eventually find his footing here. Listen to Isaac’s story as he opens up about his struggles and recent accomplishments moving to America with his family in order to make a new life for themselves in a land of opportunities.
